Want an Advent Calendar? Why not make one? Last year, I made an Advent Calendar for a friend for Christmas. I used a Starbuck's Christmas Tree Advent Calendar that was filled with chocolates. All I did was take scrapbook paper, traced the shape of the boxes, cut it out, stamped on numbers, and then glued them on to each box.
You can create your own Advent Calendar, similar to the one I made, by using Karen Foster Countdown Calendar. It is really easy to do and you can put whatever you'd like in it. For example, I put a Christmas quote in each box in addition to the chocolate.

Want one where you open the windows each day? Here is an example of a Photo Advent Calendar I found online:

Directions and template for this calendar can be found here. Enjoy and happy crafting!

I knew there was a reason I was saving my old Starbucks advent calendars. I can't bear to throw them away.
Thanks for the links!
